New Procedures for Columbus Area Drops!

   NEW PROCEDURES STARING APRIL 2ND!


Hey folks! 
We are implementing some changes! In order to stay ahead of any more “surprises”, we are going to be switching our “public drop-offs” to “parking lot pickups”.
**This will ONLY affect Columbus Area Public Pick-up locations
**This will NOT affect any Home Deliveries
**This will NOT affect Mount Vernon, Mansfield, Marion, or Findlay pick-ups
**This will NOT affect those who are already picking up at Swainway, you will continue to do that on Saturday!

We will have 7 Spots around Columbus that we are driving to, parking, handing your orders out to you from our refrigerated trucks and vans, and then moving on to the next spot.

This will:
-allow us to maintain "social distancing" standards
-eliminate any unnecessary “touches” 
-eliminate surprise store closures or early closures 
-guarantee that your orders are all found
-guarantee the quality of all the food is perfect as it will never leave refrigeration 

As always, we can assign you to home delivery and we will bring your order straight to your door for the $10 delivery fee (email erin@yellowbirdfs.com to switch to home delivery)

COLUMBUS! Based upon your previous pickup location, your account has been assigned to one of two different routes: 
If your previous pick up location was : 

Hill’s Downtown

Zest Short North

Zest Dublin

Bailey Elementary

Sunoco Gas Station

Vitality Powell

Hill’s Worthington

Bluffsview School


You can now pick up at ANY of the following 3 locations every THURSDAY going forward (as long as you have an order in the system). We will ALWAYS have your food on this truck, so feel free to meet up with us at any of the following locations during the scheduled time to get your food!

Hill’s Downtown Parking Lot- 95 North Grant Avenue Columbus, OH 43215:                         11:30am-1:00pm

Zest Dublin Parking Lot- 6704 Perimeter Loop Road Dublin, OH 43017:                                  1:30-3:00pm

Hill’s Worthington Parking Lot- 7860 Olentangy River Road Columbus, OH 43235:               3:30pm-5:00pm

If you miss your entire day of drops the final “catch-all” will be at Swainway Urban Farm (4662 Indianola Ave.) every Saturday from 10am-1pm.

This means, if you miss the 3 parking lot pick-up spots listed above on Thursday your order will automatically head to Swainway (4662 Indianola Ave.) for pick up on Saturday from 10am-1pm.

1. Alchemy Parking Lot- 625 Parsons Avenue Columbus, OH 43206: 11:30am-1:00pm

2. Butcher and Grocer Parking Lot- 1089 West 1st Avenue Grandview Heights, OH 43212 1:30pm-3:00pm

3. Zest Westerville Parking Lot, 5807 Maxtown Road Westerville, OH 43082: 3:30pm 5:00pm

If you miss your entire day of drops the final “catch-all” will be at Swainway Urban Farm (4662 Indianola Ave.) every Saturday from 10am-1pm.

This means, if you miss the 3 parking lot pick-up spots listed above on Friday your order will automatically head to Swainway (4662 Indianola Ave.) for pick up on Saturday from 10am-1pm.

THINGS TO NOTE: 
**After we have handed you your orders, please check everything at the location to make sure that you got what you ordered and that it is in good condition.
**AFTER YOU LEAVE WITH YOUR FOOD ORDER, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE REFUNDS OR ADD CREDITS FOR DISCREPANCIES
**NO FOOD WILL BE LEFT IN ANY OF THE BUILDINGS FROM HERE ON OUT, EVEN IF IT WAS YOUR ORIGINAL PICK UP LOCATION. 

You have automatically been assigned to the route above. If that does not work for you and you would like to switch to home delivery, you want your items to go straight to Swainway every week, or need to switch routes PLEASE REACH OUT.


If the route you are assigned to doesn't work for you, reach out to ERIN@YELLOWBIRDFS.COM with the route you want to switch to! **If you have already emailed her and received a confirming response from her you don't need to do that again.

We are pivoting like this because of increased demand and orders, because of new demands placed on us because of COVID-19, and in an effort to stay ahead of the long term requirements that we are going to see based on this pandemic. 

Keep in mind, ALL WE WANT TO DO IS CONTINUE TO BRING YOU REAL FOOD!  This first couple of weeks of our new “normal” will definitely be challenging.  Be patient with us and we promise that we will work super hard for you...this is, and has always been YOUR COMPANY...we exist for you and the growers and producers in our backyards.
